No theory. Just real-world experience.
About me
I’ve been on both sides of the table as a candidate trying to get noticed, and as a hiring manager building teams and making the final calls.
But I didn’t start as a confident leader.

The early reality?
I signed my very first full-time contract right after moving abroad…
and the company went bankrupt three weeks later.
I sent dozens of applications. Got silence back.
I blamed the market, until I started asking better questions:
What if I’m not showing up the way companies actually evaluate candidates?
So I flipped my mindset and I stopped thinking like a candidate, and started thinking like a business.
What didn’t work
I worked as a Tech Lead, but was paid as a Senior for over a year.
Why? I hadn’t negotiated or positioned myself strategically.
I made mistakes in interviews because I thought doing the job was the same as getting the job. It’s not. Working and job searching are two completely different skill sets.
I tried to “look ready” but I didn’t feel in control.
What changed everything
I took real leadership training — and realized asking for a raise is a process, not a moment.
I created a system to ask and I got it.
I learned to say no to well-paid jobs that didn’t feel right.
(I had already learned what happens when you ignore red flags.)
I turned down an offer for 2k less than I asked during COVID.
Then negotiated what I actually wanted. Successfully.
I was offered a higher role but with my current salary. Just promises, no progress. So I said no. Weeks later, I joined a company that paid me £20k more than I’d originally asked for.
I help overlooked professionals stop playing defense and start owning their career with the same tools I used to go from ignored to hired to hiring.
What I teach today
This isn’t theory, but the strategy I wish someone had taught me when I was stuck, underpaid, or overlooked.
It’s not a skills problem, It’s a positioning problem.
And once you see how the system really works, you’ll never unsee it.

Now I help others…
Understand what companies really look for.
Stop guessing and start owning the process
Build careers, not just get jobs
